The plan is to use an android device(probably a used G1) as the flight computer/gps/camera/and communications driver.

We'll be adding another radio to the cell/bluetooth/wifi radios, probably via the audio channel, either voice or CW mode (if morse, it might even be two-way).

We'll have a controlled terminator, either to cut the cord or pierce the balloon, in order to end the flight as soon as we can. The platform will return on a drogue chute.

The onboard radios will be supplemented by a radiolocator device, in case the flight computer doesn't survive re-entry.

Everything will be written to SD cards, to maximize the chances of returning data successfully.
