(this is the about from the site, it's a good starting point)

We are a collection of hackers, programmers, builders, makers, artists and people who generally like to break things and see what new things we can build with the pieces. We meet regularly in Los Angeles and are hoping to have a physical location in the very near future where we can do all of the above better.
